In order to stay one step ahead technologically, XIRING - Ingenico Healthcare/e-ID dedicates a significant amount of its turnover each year to its thriving R&D activities (20% in 2010).
Dubbed an “innovative company” by OSEO, a public-sector institution dedicated to economic development and supporting SMEs, XIRING - Ingenico Healthcare/e-ID owns over 100 intellectual property titles for innovative technologies, security processes and their applications. Indeed, in 2009 XIRING - Ingenico Healthcare/e-ID was awarded the French National Intellectual Property Institute’s prize for the Ile-de-France region for its industrial property strategy.
Since its creation in 1998, XIRING - Ingenico Healthcare/e-ID has been awarded 10 “Sésame Innovation” awards at the CARTES and IDentification Exhibition.
Finally, XIRING - Ingenico Healthcare/e-ID is active with the French innovation clusters SYSTEM@TIC and TES and is a member of the OPTICSVALLEY PRODUCTS / PLATFORM association.
