The Co-operative Financial Services has decided to secure 300,000 online banking users with Xi-Sign 4000 Home Chip and PIN strong authentication card readers.
Suresnes (France): XIRING, a European security solutions provider for remote transaction announces a contract with the UK financial institution CFS -The Co-operative Financial Services- that decided to secure its online banking users with strong authentication solutions based on Home Chip and PIN personal card readers. The program will be launched in April 2009 with 300,000 branded Xi-Sign 4000 and associated services, to equip online banking users.

62% of UK adults believe the security threat has increased since they started using online banking.
Suresnes (France): A XIRING survey released today has found that 62% of UK adults who bank online believe the security threat has increased since they signed up to the service. Yet when asked what would make them feel most confident of improved security, 21% responded that being asked an extra security question would be the best option. This finding highlights the extent to which online banking users still need to be educated on the fallibility of static passwords and how to better protect themselves when conducting their e-banking activities.

Turnover for the third quarter 2008: 6.2 MEUR - Turnover for the first nine months 2008: 19.1 MEUR, up 13.5% - Confirmation of target turnover for the year of 28.5 MEUR, up 20%.
Suresnes (France): XIRING, a security solution provider for remote transactions, announced a turnover for the 3rd quarter of 2008 of 6.2 million euros in line with the company's forecasts (XIRING had announced an "exceptionally high" turnover of 8.7 million euros for Q3-2007). The consolidated turnover for the first nine months of 2008 of 19.1 million euros is up 13.5% compared with the same period in 2007 (16.8 million euros).
