About XIRING - Ingenico Healthcare/e-ID

Ingenico Healthcare/e-ID combines the Ingenico Group's activities dedicated to e-Health and e-ID from XIRING - Ingenico Healthcare/e-ID in France and Ingenico Healthcare in Germany, i.e. approximately one hundred people throughout Europe, representing a renowned expertise and an installed base of approximately 800,000 terminals. This also constitutes a line of products and solutions at the very forefront of innovation, addressing the needs of governments and administrations looking to dematerialise their Healthcare or Electronic Identity system.
 
In Healthcare, Ingenico Healthcare/e-ID is founded on its position as a leader in France and Germany with solutions for securing health-based transactions. Based on readers and terminals dedicated to health cards, these solutions are used by pharmacists, healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, specialists, etc.) and healthcare establishments (hospitals, clinics, healthcare centres, etc.).

In electronic identity (e-ID), Ingenico Healthcare/e-ID is rolling out solutions adapted to suit different applications, from welcoming someone at the front desk of an administrative office through to the mobile checking of secure identity documents (national ID smart card, biometric passport, driving license smart card, etc.), from securing government agents workstations to securing the transactions performed remotely by citizens within the scope of government e-services. These solutions have already been selected by several administrations in Europe, in particular in France by French police forces.

The purpose of this new strategic approach is to support the development of numerous dematerialisation programmes in Europe and throughout the world, similar to that achieved in France and Germany. In this regard, the regrouping activity increases the Group's visibility in the area of Healthcare and Identity.
